On July 8th, Unimicron Technology Corp. in Taiwan held its project agreement signing ceremony in Jiashan Convention & Exhibition Center in Zhejiang Province. The project invested by Unimicron Technology Corp. in Jiashan Economic Development Zone covers 27-hectare, with total investment of 360 million USD and registered capital of 180 million USD, which mainly engages in the manufacture and sales of high-end printed circuit boards (PCB). PCB industry is one of the industries encouraged by Chinese government. It is expected that this project will have an annual capacity of 3,600,000m2 PCBs and its annual sales income will reach three billion RMB Yuan. Unimicron Technology Corp. is the largest PCB manufacturer in Taiwan and the second largest PCB manufacturer in the world. Its products are mainly used in the fields of electronics, telecommunication and computer. Printed circuit board for one of every 5 mobile phones in the world, is manufactured by Unimicron Technology Corp.
